RELIQUARY Outdoor and print ad campaign They say it's not what you know, it's who you know. When a boutique specializing in quirky, retro gifts and novelties opened up, I knew the right person. I had recently met a man who had purchased the rights of years of romance comics from the '50s and '60s at auction, and was trying to find ways to monetize his investment. I negotiated the images for less than traditional stock illustration would have cost, and the client got access to unique vintage imagery that perfectly matched their brand. The campaign put them on the map with billboards and newspaper ads printed to look like they had been ripped from the newspaper.
